It would seem that my lazy days of summer are coming to an end.
Soon, my weeks will be filled with weekly college women’s volleyball during the week, college football on Saturdays, and pro football on Sundays/Mondays. I have been missing my sports. This is a good thing.
My leisurely 15-20 minute drive to work will now require departing the house at least 15 minutes earlier if I want to keep my commute so quiet and tidy. Otherwise, it will take me no less than 30 minutes. Gone are the days of getting a table at a restaurant in 20 minutes or less. You get used to life in a college town when the college kids are away.
Ah well. It’s the cycle of life. Time to get busy again!
Life imitates art imitates life. No matter how you look at it, it’s just funny.

And despite acknowledging the improbability of the candidate winning, a majority says they would consider voting for an independent for president.

I realize that many people accuse me of throwing away my vote when I do cast an independent/libertarian vote in a local election. However, I can have a little hope that one day, there will be more like me than not like me. Until that day, I can always hope.
